Kuba Falk (b. 1984, Poland), intermedia artist and performer, creates and interprets „bodytales,“ as he calls performative actions realized in various formats, through which he combines work with text and interests, especially from the areas of ecofeminist thought, mythology and rituals. He uses provocative gesture, juxtaposing the practice of a paradigm of care with the reality of a technocratic dystopia. Falk also creates sculptural objects and installations that reference nature, as well as music for his performances. Falk created more than 50 actions presenting them worldwide at numerous festivals and in exhibitions and venues such as Baryshnikov Arts Center, NYC, Grace Exhibition Space, NYC, The Watermill Center, Long Island, WeHo Prose Arts LA, Art in Nature Festival, Austria, Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin, Dfbrl8r Gallery, Chicago, USA, Gallery El, Elbląg, Poland, National Museum in Krakow, Poland, Grey Space Gallery, The Hague, The Netherlands, Performance Crossings Festival, Prague, Czech Republic, Carbonarium Festival, Kiev, Ukraine, Mandala Festival, Wrocław, Poland, Ewa Opałka Gallery / Razem Pamoja Foundation, Warsaw, Poland, F.a.i.t. Gallery Krakow, Poland, Epipiderme Festival, Lisbon, Portugal, Espacio OFF Limits, Madrid, Galeria CMTV, Barcelona, Spain, Interactions Festival, Poland, Performance Platform Lublin Festival, Poland and others across Europe and Americas.

My art is grounded in the belief in one universal energy which permeates and interconnects everything. Through my art I aim to weave a thread of connection between personal and cosmic dimensions, and to awaken a collective consciousness towards individual empowerment and planetary healing. I explore the relationships between the cosmic cycles, the elements, and human consciousness. I perceive the body as a portal and am interested in exploring its capacities and limits in order to shift consciousness and expand the conceivable.
