Vladimir Havlík’s work is characterized by its diversity – it includes events (performances, happenings, and land art projects), visual poetry, conceptual books and objects, drawing, abstract painting, video, and text-based works. His work is typically situated on the fine line between art and life, accompanied by a constant reflection on his own past in collaboration with artists of the younger generation. The events he has been involved in since the late 1970s are characterized by a distinctive poetics, romanticism, and mutuality.
Vladimir will present his performance on 9 July 2026 as part of the festival’s Residency Programme.
